General

You will not receive promotional materials unless you expressly choose to. You must purposely 'opt-in'.

In the spirit of professionalism, we request that you provide a photo Credit Line for any editorial use of a photo in the format: "© Jon R. Holmquist - Oregon Stock Photos, according to your standard placement preference. Where possible we also request a copyright notice as well.

Products

All large photos displayed on this website have a logo watermark overlayed upon them - including Photo Comps. The only way to get a photo without a watermark is to purchase one - purchased will not not have our watermark on them. Photo Comps are not available without watermarks.

No photo on this website comes with a model, trademark, logo, or other intellectual property releases associated with it. However, in certain cases, they may be available. They are considered "public domain" photos. It is your responsibility to determine if your use might require the need for such a release, and by accepting this license you specifically indemnify Oregon Stock Photos of any legal action that may result from your use of any photo.

Ordering

Original transparencies are not available - our business is online and digital. You can request custom scan resolutions and image sizes by submitting a Custom Quote Request.

We only cancel - and refund (or credit) payment of - an order up until the point at which it is shipped or downloaded. Sales are considered final and there are no cancellations once a product is shipped or downloaded. A cancellation fee up to 50% for Photo Prints and 25% for Licensed digital products may be accessed depending on the production stage of the order.

Your download file will remain accessible for retries until we receive notification of success - but not indefinitely. If for some reason downloads are infeasible or will not work, we will gladly send you a CD file ASAP. We will ensure that you receive your file.

We request that you provide Oregon Stock Photos with three copies, at no cost, of all printed pieces containing a licensed Photo and provide the URL for all web published works that do.

We accept, all the major credit cards Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover as well as payment using Paypal. By regular mail, we accept checks (both corporate and personal), money orders, and cashiers checks. Products are not shipped until checks are cleared. All payments other than by credit card - must be in U.S. dollars.

If payment is by credit card, we can accept, via PayPal, virtually all the major world currencies - they do the conversion. If payment is by check or money order - we require that it be in U.S. dollars.
