Panorama of the Crooked River High Bridge on Hwy 97 over the Crooked River Gorge was designed by Conde B. McCullough and built in 1926. It is 464-feet long and consists of a 330-foot two-hinged steel braced-spandrel deck arch. The structure was one of the highest bridges in the United States ,at 295-feet from deck to streambed, when it was constructed.
